Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and software skills (i.e., Word, Outlook, e-filing, etc.)
- Manage and coordinate attorney calendars, scheduling and travel plans
- Client communication
- Handling all incoming mail and flagging important tasks
- Scan and update all hearing folders and make sure letters are sent out after every hearing
- Open new files and make sure practice runs smoothly
- Must possess excellent critical thinking and organizationalskills
- Typing (at least 60-70 WPM)
- Track billable time on a daily basis
- Prepare legal documents and general correspondence in an accurate and timely manner; draft standard correspondence; proofread, edit, and format documents
- Prepare paper court filings and electronic filings
- Organize, file, and manage electronic and paper documents
- Organize and submit documents for timely entry into the firm’s docket system
