What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Technician position at Semo Milling?
Candidates must be willing to work DEDICATED DAY SHIFT (NO SWING SHIFT).
MUST have a valid driver's license. ADDITIONAL $3 PER HOUR IF YOU HAVE A VALID CLASS A CDL! Don't have a CDL? We may pay for you to get one and provide the additional pay upon passing and receiving Class A CDL license.
Shipping Responsibilities:
· Execute the shipping process as directed by the Shipping Supervisor / Mill Superintendent
· Ensuring adherence to packaging, load-out and mill production schedules
· Facility Sanitation
· Utilizing good manufacturing processes
· Prime product and hominy load-out
· Monitor key indicator for quality, productivity, and utilization
· Utilize the IMS and SPC where applicable
· Responsible for quality of work within area
· Maintain work environment in a clean and orderly fashion
