Sr. Mortgage Processor

Semper Home Loans, a National Mortgage Lender, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sr. Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at our headquarters in Providence, RI. This is a full-time, in-office role with no remote possibilities. If you are experienced in loan processing and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Process and prepare mortgage loan files from application to approval.
• Ensure compliance with bank, regulatory, investor guidelines, and customer service standards.
• Communicate with customers, internal teams, and third-party providers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and gather necessary documentation.
• Manage a pipeline of 35 loans, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Demonstrate expertise in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, FHA, and USDA loan programs.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: College degree preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Processor or Loan Officer Assistant.
  
  

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in loan processing, credit policies, underwriting requirements, and closing procedures.
• Familiarity with automated processing systems; Encompass 360 experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing Regulations (preferred).
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
