Job Overview
We are seeking an efficient, proactive and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and demonstrate proficiency in office management, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service. We are a small business and things can change quickly, we need someone who can pivot quickly when needed. You will working in a shop that contains dangerous tools, materials, surfaces, and other hazards. While this job does not require any use or prior knowledge of these tools and materials, you need to be able to handle yourself in a safe manner as you work in the office space.
Responsibilities
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting.
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when interacting with clients and vendors.
- Coordinate administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, managing correspondence, and supporting staff as needed.
- Oversee calendar management for the team, scheduling meetings and appointments as needed.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management.
Experience
- Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of shipping and recieving, purchase order processes and financial management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment and software applications.
- A background in clerical work is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
