Position Overview
SVS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to drive engagement across the workforce. This role will ensure compliance artifacts and documentation are completed on time and in alignment with ISO 9001, 20000-1, 27001, CMMI Level 3 (Development & Services), and CMMC Level 2. This role will work directly with the CPIO, playing a critical role in enforcing compliance culture, managing audits, and streamlining regulatory processes.
This position requires strong communication and organizational skills. The analyst will be expected to engage employees at all levels, follow up on required documentation, and support internal audits and external certifications.

Key Responsibilities
Compliance Leadership & Workforce Engagement
- Act as the driving force behind compliance activities, proactively ensuring employees complete required artifacts, documentation, and audit materials.
- Work closely with the CPIO to implement, maintain, and enhance compliance programs.
- Conduct regular check-ins, follow-ups, and status reporting on compliance activities.
- Foster a compliance-first culture, ensuring teams understand and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, 20000-1, 27001, CMMI Level 3, CMMC Level 2, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Assist in preparing and managing internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.
- Track compliance gaps and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance-related documentation (e.g., SOPs, policies, security plans, audit reports, risk assessments) is updated, accurate, and accessible.
- Collaborate with the CPIO to enhance compliance workflows and streamline audit processes.
- Identify areas for automation or process improvement to enhance compliance tracking and reporting.
- Develop and deliver training to employees on compliance responsibilities and best practices.
- Act as an advisor to teams, answering compliance-related questions and ensuring policies are followed.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, Security, Operations, Talent Acquisition, HR, BD, and Contracts teams to maintain compliance alignment.
- Provide regular reports to the CPIO and leadership team on compliance status, risks, and remediation efforts.
- Experience: 2-5 years in compliance, audit, cybersecurity, risk management, or process improvement in a defense contracting or highly regulated environment.
- Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer
- CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP)
- CISA, CISM, or other compliance-related certifications
- Strong communication skills - ability to engage with technical and non-technical staff, drive action, and ensure accountability.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach to compliance enforcement.
- Familiarity with GRC tools, audit tracking software, and compliance management systems is a plus.
- Direct mentorship from the CPIO, gaining insight into strategic compliance initiatives.
- Work with cutting-edge compliance frameworks and DoD cybersecurity regulations.
