Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is operated efficiently and safely on job sites. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time. Operator will also serve as a site Foreman that will be responsible for implementation of daily field activities and project coordination with the client.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavator, bull dozer, skid steer and mini excavator.
- Perform digging and excavation tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to safely run projects from the field and provide clear communication with clients
- Layout by interpreting construction plans
- Multi-task and set priorities effectively
- Basic computer skills including daily applications and Microsoft
- Willingness to travel to our job sites
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must meet physical requirements necessary to perform job responsibilities
- Experience in environmental remediation projects
- Torch cutting and/or welding
Preferred Certifications:
- 40 Hour Hazwoper training
- TWIC Card

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
