SemSem is a New York based luxury fashion brand specializing in evening-wear and couture for women and girls. The brand is dedicated to supporting women's empowerment and children's health globally by partnering with organizations focused on gender equality, literacy, health, legal awareness, and education. SemSem has been worn by a legion of celebrities including Taylor Swift, Cynthia Erivo, Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Kourtney Kardashian, Drew Barrymore, Saoirse Ronan, and appears regularly on Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and W Magazine.

Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Fashion Photography Intern at SemSem. The role's day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing and executing exciting social media content and visual assets for both marketing and ecommerce. The internship provides hands-on experience in the dynamic world of fashion photography.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on photoshoots and video productions for marketing, social media, and e-commerce.
• Retouch photos using Adobe Photoshop to enhance quality and meet brand standards.
• Assist in scouting and coordinating models and collaborators for social media and marketing shoots.
• Develop creative concepts for digital content in line with our brand aesthetic.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow to support project deadlines.

Requirements:

• An extroverted, outgoing personality with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Fashion Photography skills
• Interest in luxury fashion
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for fashion retouching
• Video editing using CapCut and/or similar programs
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Understanding of garment construction is a plus
• Interest in fashion, photography, social media, e-commerce, and marketing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to take creative direction
• Pursuing a degree or certification in Photography, Fashion, or related areas
