Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and fabrication. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance. The Technician will work closely with other team members to support various projects and initiatives while adhering to safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter and logic controllers.
• Fabricate components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring all areas are safe and operational.
• Assist in residential painting projects as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in processes and systems.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and facilities maintenance.
• Experience with welding is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities is a plus.
• Previous experience in fabrication or construction is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.23 - $21.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
