WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an organized and reliable part-time Operations Assistant to support all office and production operations. This individual will handle product inventory and product creation, order fulfillment, office organization, and potentially event support as needed. The responsibilities include reporting directly to the manager and fulfilling operations duties in the manager’s absence. This role has the potential to transition to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

As an Operations Assistant, you will:
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient office environment for production.
- Pack, deliver, and fulfill all D2C & B2B orders from all sales channels as needed.
- Ensure goods are packed to meet the stipulated quantity and quality standards.
- Oversee producing necessary product inventory.
- Monitor product inventory and office supplies.
- Report inventory and office supply needs to management and be accountable for replenishing low stock items for production and order fulfillment.
- Package, pick up, organize, and deliver packages that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Analyze all operations to share suggestions for improvement.
- Improve quality, productivity, and profitability of processes and procedures.
- Uphold a safe, welcoming, and collaborative team culture and work environment.
- Mentor and support interns in their professional development, consistently providing feedback and fostering a learning-rich environment.
You have:
- Interest in hands-on operations and/or e-commerce.
- Efficient, organized, reliable, curious, and friendly personality.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work on various projects in parallel.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Strong organization, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual Japanese and English is a huge plus but not required!
Requirements:
- Open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable personality.
- Possess attention to detail, efficiency, flexibility, variety, and growth potential.
- Self-motivated and must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Love for tea with an interest in Japanese culture.
- Ideally 1–2 years of order fulfillment experience.
- A passion for mentoring interns and developing talent in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Schedule: Mondays to Thursdays, 3 or 6-hour shifts
