Job Description
Taking applications for part-time, approx 20-30 hrs, (possible full-time for the right candidate). Retail, office, print & shipping experience is preferred, as well as graphics experience (or wish to learn).
WILLING TO PAY for the right candidate - full or part time.
MUST be a able to work independently, THRIVE in a busy, multi-tasking environment, work on their feet for several hours at a time, lift 40 lbs regularly without assistance, learn and RETAIN multiple regulations and policies, operate multiple office machines, and possess STRONG organizational and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities include:
-Being a TEAM PLAYER...a self-starter who sees something that needs done, and DOES IT.
-Assisting customers in the purchase of retail products in our store
-Processing shipping transactions by obtaining customer information, weighing,
measuring, make packaging recommendations, and quoting prices.
- Packing shipments to our shipping standards
-Assisting customers in the quoting and ordering of print projects
-Maintain cleanliness & stock levels in the store
-Handling transactions in our computerized POS system
quickly and accurately
-Operate various pieces of printing equipment, including large & small format printers and scanners
-Communicate & work effectively with owner, team members, & customers
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on a daily basis
-Present a clean & professional image in person and over the phone
-Ability to learn & retain working knowledge of copier functions (booklets, presentations),
as well as basic use of large & small format printers
Ideal candidates will ALSO possess:
-Familiarity with a packing and shipping environment, as well as a professional / office work place
-Knowledge of Basic Design software (or the capability and desire to learn)
-Ability to work an occasional Saturday (10am-3pm) after training is completed.
-Strong background in sales
-RESPONSIBILITIES include a "Can-do" attitude with a take-charge mentality helping us to achieve sales goals while maintaining our high level of customer service
