We are seeking a Produce Lead to help oversee daily operations, merchandising, and staff management in our Produce Department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising and training produce staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Develop and execute merchandising plans to maximize sales and product quality
- Monitor stock levels, product rotation, and displays
- Ensure pricing accuracy and proper signage
- Handle ordering, receiving, and inventory management
- Assist customers with product inquiries and special orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull up to 2,000 lbs.
- Experience in produce retail or management preferred
- Strong communication, decision-making, and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in cold temperatures (35-40°F)
