Job Summary
The Pricing Manager will be responsible for modeling and promoting Sendik’s culture by consistently providing “best in class” service to our guests. The main responsibility of the Pricing Manager is to maintain and execute accurate pricing in every department throughout the store. In addition, the Pricing Manager is responsible for maintaining consistent communication with the Home Office Pricing Team for projected price changes, sales and verification of prices.

Work Experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve customers throughout the store while modeling Sendik’s culture and providing “best in class” customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their business
- Create in-store signage, sale tags and price tags for all departments throughout the store
- Discard old price tags and verify changes each week to ensure accuracy
- Maintain consistent daily email communication with Home Office Pricing Team to discuss price changes and verification
- Daily walk-through of store to confirm accurate prices in each department
- Assist with creating UPC codes for perishable items
- Assist with creating specialty signage for sale items, charities and promotional events as needed
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new Pricing Managers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures
- Pass all internal/external audits
- Protect Sendik's brand reputation through accurate retail signage.
- Reflect all promotional pricing on a timely basis.
- Assist with all other store duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of store equipment
- Prior experience in a grocery setting is preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including data entry and spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail
- Eagerness to interact with customers
- Strong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the team
- Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding department needs and priorities, under general supervision
- Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
