Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute educational lesson plans and activities in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for young children.
- Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to ensure comprehensive educational and developmental goals are met.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
- Oversee and support assistant teachers and classroom aides in daily activities and responsibilities.
- Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

Requirements

- CDA (can currently be enrolled in CDA for infants and toddler) or Associate Degree in Eary Childhood Education or higher
- Previous experience with childcare or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
