RESPONSABILITIES
- Maintain compliance reports within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training, guidance and assistance for managers and employees around compliance requirements.
- Serve as a resource for Seneca staff in areas of agency policy and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain systems to educate employees and managers on compliance needs, including creative and educational infographics, emails, and virtual sessions.
- Update the HRIS with professional license information.
- Update the HRIS with direct and/or clinical supervisor changes.
- Monitor and track all fingerprint information received for employees and contractors.
- Verify all licenses/credentials through state verification websites upon hire and prior to expiration.
- Perform regular checks through state and federal databases regarding excluded providers lists.
- Respond to Community Care Licensing (CCL) requests regarding reports and audits of files, and partner with program leaders to support during audits.
- Update DMV Employee Pull Notice program and motor vehicle reports as needed.
- Obtain Live Scan certification and perform fingerprinting of new hires and potential applicants as needed.
- Identify and implement proactive processes to maintain agency compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Education/experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree OR
- Associate degree or equivalent 1 year of applicable HR work experience OR
- High school diploma/GED 2 years of applicable HR work experience.
- Applicable work experience includes any paid or unpaid experience in a human resources capacity requiring customer service, data entry, ability to prioritize multiple projects within strict deadlines, and coordination with multiple departments.
- At least 21 years of age.
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
PREFERRED
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification or equivalent credential a plus.
- Human Resources or Compliance experience a plus.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements a plus.
SKILLS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products.
- Experience with HRIS (particularly UKG/UltiPro) and compliance databases.
- Effective planning and priority setting.
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
SCHEDILE
- Full-Time- Hybrid
- Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm (Wednesday and Thursday onsite in Oakland)
