We are seeking a School Based Therapist to join our team at Catalyst Academy in El Sobrante, CA. As a Therapist, you will work with grades 2-12 students to provide therapeutic, case management, and consultation services.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of teachers, counselors, other specialists/educational staff, and program leadership to support students' mental health and academic success
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, incorporating evidence-based interventions and accommodations as needed
- Communicate regularly with caregivers to ensure they are informed about their child's progress and involved in the treatment process
- Respond to crises and provide timely interventions, including risk assessments, triage, and service linkage
- Leverage crisis communication and de-escalation techniques, as trained by Seneca, to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students
- Offer consultation to school staff on topics such as safety assessments, mental health crises, and social service access, while promoting healing-centered practices
- Participate in initiatives that foster a positive school culture, celebrating student successes and promoting overall well-being
- Pursue required data collection and service documentation to evaluate service effectiveness, inform team decision-making, and facilitate billing processes
Requirements
- Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or marriage and family therapy
- Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full license)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state or federal licensing/certification requirements
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination records
