What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Support Specialist position at Seneca Gaming and Entertainment?
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Financial Support Manager, responsible for preparation and reconciliation of daily Gaming and Bingo packets for Income Audit review. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Seneca Gaming and Entertainment’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepares Bingo daily packets for Income Audit review.
2. Review the work of the instant ticket associate and ensure that summaries of activities for instants are completed after each Bingo session.
3. Also reviews the work of the Bingo Floor Associates and ensures that summaries of activities are on Bingo forms and completed at the end of each session.
4. Review the Bingo inventory count to be accurate.
5. Prepares Slot Operations daily packets for Income Audit review.
6. Review Cage and Gaming Cashier’s work and ensure that summaries of activities for the gaming day are complete.
7. Completes the backend audit for each gaming day.
8. Checks all of the aforementioned for completeness and accuracy for compliance with SNI, vendor, and governmental regulations.
9. Maintains necessary files and information for preparing reports and special assignments as requested.
10. Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2. Associate degree in Accounting and/or one (1) year of practical experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
3. Must possess excellent math skills.
4. Must possess excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
