Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Manage and coordinate patient admissions, including gathering documentation and verifying insurance.
✔️ Work closely with healthcare providers, case managers, and social workers to facilitate a smooth transition for patients.
✔️ Maintain accurate records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
✔️ Provide compassionate support to patients and families during the admission process.
✔️ Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.
✔️ Collaborate with the billing department to ensure proper documentation for insurance verification and pre-authorization.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Previous experience in admissions, healthcare administration, or medical office coordination preferred.
✅ Strong knowledge of insurance verification, Medicaid/Medicare eligibility, and patient intake procedures.
✅ Proficiency in EHR systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and medical billing software.
