Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Technician to manage meal planning, nutrition assessments, and dietary needs for our residents. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, monitor special diets, and ensure all food services comply with regulatory standards. You'll work closely with residents and healthcare teams to create a positive dining experience while supporting overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with residents’ specific nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions.
- Monitor inventory and order food supplies.
- Support residents' meal choices and preferences in a positive, respectful manner.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in food service areas.
- Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare providers to meet resident needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or a similar role preferred.
- Understanding of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and food safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
