Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessment: Evaluate client problems by collecting and analyzing information about their symptoms and functioning.
- Treatment Planning: Develop an individualized treatment strategy to address client-specific issues.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Aid clients by suggesting and exploring behavioral resolutions and discussing progress towards resolving behavioral issues.
- Service Coordination: Assist clients in obtaining services by initiating referrals.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress toward treatment strategies by evaluating and adjusting services provided, if needed.
- Documentation: Document all services in accordance with established standards; secure information by adhering to HIPAA regulations and Seneca privacy policies.
- Professional Development: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; obtaining required continuing education as required by professional license; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and reviewing relevant state rules and regulations regarding the provision of services.
- Ambassadorship: Promote the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients; by appropriately publicizing activities and accomplishments; adhering to a professional code of ethics.
- Representation: Represent Seneca in a positive manner, including maintaining a positive attitude and performing duties in accordance with Seneca's Mission and Code of Conduct and Ethical Practices.
