Seneca Global Services is looking to hire a Data Analyst to support a US Army Program Office out of Fort Belvoir. The position is currently listed as partially remote with part of the week onsite for client support. For this reason, candidates must be local to the Fort Belvoir, VA area.
The position of Data Analyst is a vital role in the Program Office, supporting a high visibility client that reports directly to senior Army leadership.
This position requires an active Secret clearance.
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Take raw data exports from the technical team and analyze, interpret and display the data in different formats such as graphs, projections and PowerPoint slides.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze technical guidance and policy from many forums, both internal and external.
- Work with Technical Director to enhance and make suggestions for improvement to their data strategy.
- Work with the client to evaluate where the technical guidance and policy needs to be applied to CHESS business processes.
- Assist in implementation of processes and / or procedures requiring technical and business understanding.
- Evaluate contract scope and product specifications across multiple contracts and ensure they are aligned to Army and / or DoD guidelines, policies, and expectations.
- Work with technical team to help interpret and present raw data in a meaningful way for product owners.
- Work with the technical director and their staff to understand and advise on structuring and delivering data to ensure the best conditions for analysis, including the gathering and documenting of potential new requirements.
- Provide recommendations on the structure and collection of data, as well as tools and software necessary for data strategy and analytics.
- Assist in building and maintaining partnership between CHESS and stakeholders such as NETCOM, ISEC, ARCYBER, Army CIO and others.
