Seneca Strategic Partners is seeking a highly experienced Senior II Financial Analyst to join our team at the Census Bureau. This position plays crucial role in developing and maintaining the program budget throughout the life of the project, specifically focusing on the 2030 Census. This position involves creating and maintaining life-cycle cost estimates, building Information Technology (IT) models, and providing comprehensive financial analysis and forecasting.
This is a hybrid position, primarily remote, with a potential to return to work at the Census Bureau.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain the IT program budget for the 2030 Census project.
- Create and maintain the 2030 IT Census life-cycle cost estimate and associated models.
- Provide regular status updates, obligation, and expenditure forecasting.
- Conduct IT budget and financial analysis, funds control techniques, and cost projections based on current funding status.
- Collaborate with the team to assess financial systems and recommend areas for improvement.
- Review financial reporting processes, strategic financial planning, and policy formulation and development in accordance with the scope of work.
- Design and apply performance measures and quality controls.
- Conduct or lead economic and regulatory analysis as necessary.
