Seneca Holdings is seeking a highly capable SharePoint / Power Platform Developer to manage our SharePoint environment. This position will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the SharePoint platform, including the company Intranet and Document Management System. Additionally, the role will leverage PowerApps and the Microsoft Power Platform to design, develop, and implement solutions for automating tasks and creating workflows.
The ideal candidate should be a technical expert who has experience in managing the SharePoint platform in the areas of administration, configuration, upgrades, design, workflow, automation, continuous improvement, and performance optimization. The role will work closely with the departments/programs across the entire company to build out and maintain content specific information in the company's SharePoint environment and create a positive experience for end-users.

Summary of Location and Hours:
- Hybrid or Remote Position – on site in Chantilly, VA or fully remote
- Monday – Friday approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. Most services are provided during normal business hours. That said, Seneca Holdings and its subsidiaries supports employees and locations worldwide, in many time zones. Planned and unplanned work schedules to include nights and weekends may be necessary. Requirements for on-call support coverage and working hours are also possible.
- Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and team members to gather requirements and drive projects forward.
- Develop, maintain, and support SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists.
- Develop custom business applications and automate workflows using PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI to streamline and enhance business processes.
- Develop custom web parts, applications, and solutions using SharePoint technologies (SharePoint Framework, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.).
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerApps applications, automated workflows, and data visualization tools to maintain high availability and performance.
- Ensure that SharePoint design and features align with organizational security, information architecture, and usability best practices.
- Provide support for SharePoint administration, including permissions management and site configuration.
- Maintain system documentation and develop user guides, as necessary.
- Train end users as necessary
- At least 5 years of experience as a SharePoint administrator/developer on the platform.
- 3 years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Hands-on experience in business process automation and workflow development using Power Automate.
- Knowledge of Customization and Coding Experience: JSON, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and project management skills.
- Experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports to provide business insights.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
