BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for reception and specified clerical functions. Serves as the Nations Customer Service representative by greeting and directing employees and visitors in a courteous manner to appropriate person(s) and/or location.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receives all incoming calls, screens for nature of call and transfers to appropriate employee.
2. Receives patients/visitors and direct them to proper destination.
3. Processes the incoming/outgoing mail by updating logs and distributing to appropriate mailboxes. Logs and notifies appropriate staff of UPS and FedEx deliveries. Tracks and forwards interdepartmental mail.
4. Tracks and schedules conference rooms.
5. Works to promote cooperative staff efforts to provide and maintain high quality service to patients, physicians and other staff to assure quality patient and client care.
6. Where applicable, must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide communication appropriate to patients of all ages.
7. Participates and completes all mandatory staff meetings, trainings and in-services.
8. Follows all policies and procedures of department, Seneca Nation, and Seneca Nation Health System.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School graduate or equivalent.
· Six months to one-year experience in clerical work or related field. Public relations capability.
· Must have computer and typing skills.
· Possess word processing and/or spreadsheet computer skills.
· Experience in a large hospital, academic medical center, outpatient health care setting, or Indian Health Service (IHS)/tribal health, preferred.
Salary : $16
