Transportation Aide- SRNA- State Registered Nurse Aide

Responsibilities
• Operate the facility’s vehicle in a safe manner when transporting residents.
• Assists the residents when on-boarding and off-boarding the vehicle.
• Ensures the residents’ safe arrival to the pre-determined destination and the facility.
• Maintains route and mileage logs.
• Monitors routine vehicle safety conditions including fuel and vital fluid levels.
• Reports any vehicle problems, or maintenance needs to the Executive Director immediately.
• Ensures that all vehicle passengers follow safety procedures, including fastening seat belts, prior to moving the van.
• Interacts in a positive manner with the residents and visitors as a representative of the facility.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Must demonstrate empathy, courteous, kind and professional workplace behavior and customer services to all residents, care team members, vendors, visitors and family members at all times
• Attends all mandatory in-services; and completes timely all necessary Relias trainings scheduled to perform. Keeps abreast and/or discusses with supervisor or manager all necessary policies, procedures and business practices within the scope of the position held to effectively perform all duties assigned.
Requirements
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license. Excellent driving record.
• State Registered Nurse Aide- SRNA & CPR certificate current and in good standing
