We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our medical team. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine medical procedures, including physical examinations, vital sign checks, and specimen collection and processing.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including administering medications and providing education on disease management.
- Provide direct care to patients, including geriatric patients, and demonstrate a strong understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
- Utilize MedEnt, our electronic health record system, to document patient information and track treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve patient-centered outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure patient satisfaction and loyalty.
Skills:
- Strong foundation in physiology knowledge and understanding of the human body.
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and ability to navigate electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and prioritize patient care during critical situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds.
