Position Description
The Talent Source Manager is responsible for maximizing all sourcing tools and partnerships to build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs for the entire enterprise. The Talent Source Manager will play a pivotal role in attracting top talent. The candidate will develop programs and services to promote awareness of Seneca Gaming Corporation and Leadership Seneca while supporting the recruitment of Seneca Nation Members, as well as retention and advancement of Seneca Team Members. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Serve as the consultant and liaison to expert resources and functions as the organizational Haudenosaunee ambassador. Provides general information and knowledge of the social, economic, spiritual and traditional values of the Haudenosaunee traditions.
- Deliver training and information sessions for potential Team Members, as well as Seneca Team Members.
- Establish and strengthen programmatic partnerships between Seneca Gaming Corporation (SGC), the Seneca Nation of Indians (SNI), and communities / agencies servicing Native Americans to support recruitment, onboarding, retention and development of Seneca Team Members.
- Source candidates through various resources to build a talent pool that can meet the company's current and future hiring needs i.e. SNI Employment and Training Departments, social media, agency partnerships, professional networks, hiring events, school events, community events, cultural events, etc..
- Partner with Marketing to ensure all communications and collateral promote our employee brand.
- Partner with TA Leadership, Recruiters, and Hiring Managers to deeply understand current and future hiring needs while crafting creative sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to learn more about open positions and requirements.
- Build extensive, diverse pipelines for critical skill areas and open positions.
- Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
- Co-develop, implement and manage the company's overall sourcing strategy with an emphasis on recruiting new Seneca Team Members.
- Strategize methods to retain existing Seneca Team Members which may include career coaching, counseling, mentoring and other development programs.
- Direct SNI Members to Leadership Seneca Programs and services available through outreach, retention and advancement workshops, activities and events.
- Direct outreach & cultural events including but not limited to Native American Heritage Month, Youth Employment Conference and other Community events through formulation, organization, sponsorship, execution, recognition and evaluation.
- Responsible for sourcing and outreach communication and collateral including but not limited to newsletters, outreach communications and Stakeholders information.
- Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers for temporary staffing needs.
- Develop yearly budget depending on sourcing needs and manage sourcing related expenses within budget throughout the year.
- Track sourcing related data, monitor success of sourcing efforts, provide reports on sourcing and outreach efforts and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy.
- Keep up to date on industry and market trends and best practices.
- Presents information on cultural topics, issues, and programs in oral, written, electronic mediums to stakeholders and the general public.
- Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and team members, communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers, staff and vendors.
