Job Responsibilities
The Intern, Stakeholder Relations will serve as an integral member of the Stakeholder Relations team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop content for social media platforms, including video content and graphics
- Assist with the development and roll-out of a new Instagram account
- Help write press releases for events, charitable donations, and community initiatives
- Research and write stories related to sustainability and community impact
- Represent Seneca Resources at various community events, town hall meetings, and 4H Livestock Auctions
- Document events through photography
- Attend charitable giving committee meetings
3. Engagement:
- Participate on the Seneca Serves committee; help plan and communicate volunteer activities
- Assist with Energy Explorers events throughout the summer
- Help collect and organize data for the upcoming 2025 Impact Report
Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
Job Qualifications
- A junior or senior currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related field
- Interest in public affairs, corporate communications, or corporate social responsibility
- Strong writing and communication skills with an emphasis on journalistic writing and editing
- Ability to think critically and creatively in a faced-paced work environment
- Maintain productivity while balancing competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to travel up to 25% and have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.
