A NYS authority located in downtown NY is looking for a System Engineer/System Administrator for a 6 month assignment.
"Please note, this role is 100% onsite, and interviews will also be conducted onsite."
Candidate should have demonstrated hands-on experience working on large scale deployments.
Candidate background must include Windows configurations and Active Directory experience.
Mandatory Skills:
- Active Directory and Windows Server Administration and Hardening
- Windows Administration
- Windows configurations and deployments
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and deploy devices, including defining access policy for Active Directory.
- Define requirements for conditional access policy for Azure Active Directory.
- Install hardware/software including anti-virus software.
- Work closely with IT/OT to support best practices related to security, application optimization, business processes, and issue resolutions.
- Systems administration including patching, security and in-house systems troubleshooting.
- Document process and procedures.
- Identify and develop process improvements and efficiencies.
- Candidates must have demonstrated experience with the following:
- Securing/hardening desktops
- Implementing/Configuring endpoint security tools (e.g. Trellix, Crowdstrike, etc.)
- Enterprise level deployments of desktops/servers
- Windows AD configuration/administration
- VMware for desktop/server deployments
Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:
Virtualization and Infrastructure
Endpoint Credential Management
Active Director and Windows Server Administration and Hardening
Privilege and Access management
Enterprise Level deployments.
Vulnerability and Patch Management
Active Director and Windows Server Administration and Hardening
Experience in desktop support
