About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Director to join our team at Seneca Resources. As a key leader in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the total performance of services 24/7/365 at our customer's operations.
Your primary focus will be on achieving operational performance objectives, cost savings, and maintaining employee morale, safety culture, retention, and productivity. You will work closely with our Vice President to develop and execute strategic direction, as well as implement identified strategic programs such as CMMS Implementation, SOP development, Vendor Management Program, reliability maintenance program, Cap Ex development, equipment assessments, Root Cause Analysis, safety program, quality program, increasing workforce productivity, and best practice application across our customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize workload to manage normal day-to-day activities, emergency assignments, and special projects to ensure all KPIs and performance objectives are completed to satisfaction.
- Manage subcontractors and direct reports, including 24/7 coverage schedules.
- Perform annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Hold subcontractors accountable to contract requirements and manage supplier relationship programs with centralized procurement support.
- Manage teams to ensure all work orders are accepted, completed, and closed within account-specific timeframes.
- Respond to customer escalations and facilitate constant communication between accounts, providers, and customers.
- Investigate, develop, and implement projects, processes, or activities to reduce or contain costs, increase quality levels, and meet standards using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Train, mentor, and manage review processes to ensure associate growth and development.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customer Points of Contact.
- Promote commitment to environmental health and safety by adhering to safety practices, investigating concerns, and making recommendations.
- Analyze monthly reports to ensure strategic alignment and optimal delivery of service while identifying key operational and financial improvement opportunities.
- Manage weekly and monthly AR & AP reports to ensure accounts stay current.
- Facilitate MBR and QBRs as scheduled.
- Implement plans and programs to meet and/or exceed client objectives within accounts.
- Maintain cost-effectiveness, consistency, quality, accuracy, and performance to business standards.
- Ensure effective customer satisfaction, service, and relations by implementing processes and technology to deliver quality products and services.
- Create a consistent operational image, implement initiatives, and produce quality products in accordance with company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout accounts.
- Establish an environment that gives team members and teams responsibility/authority to achieve goals, then holds them accountable for accomplishing them.
