Job Title: QA Laboratory Technician
Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (Monday-Friday, 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Laboratory Technician to join our team in King of Prussia, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
This role involves working closely with other laboratory staff to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of test results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and providing technical support. Flexibility to support all production shifts and serve as a backup to senior staff is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing and deliver accurate, timely results.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory testing equipment.
- Follow written instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document test results and maintain accurate records (e.g., Excel sheets).
- Use basic laboratory tools, such as balances and pipettes.
- Provide technical support to the laboratory team.
- Serve as a backup to the Senior Scientist and other lab staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, or related) is a plus.
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written instructions and SOPs.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
- Familiarity with laboratory tools and equipment (e.g., balances, pipettes).
- Experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) or Liquid Chromatography (LC) is preferred but not required.
