Job Description
A public sector client in Austin is looking for a Software Engineer for a 6-month hybrid contract opportunity this likely to extend.
We are only considering direct applicants, currently in TX, who can commute once a week onsite in Austin, TX
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team within the Administrative Applications division. As a trusted member of the team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing complex features and enhancements, particularly using Articulate Storyline 360. If you are passionate about technical problem-solving and have experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS), this role will be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to identify opportunities for enhancements and improvements to existing systems.
- Implement CI / CD pipelines to improve developer velocity and ensure high code quality.
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated workflows, ensuring these systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of system processes to ensure their accuracy, robustness, and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them develop and grow within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Learning Management System (LMS) solutions into existing systems and business processes.
- Stay current with industry trends , best practices, and technological advancements related to Learning Management Systems.
