Location: Austin, TX - Onsite

Overview:
A public sector client of ours in Austin, Texas is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a 2-month onsite contract opportunity that may extend. Due to the nature of the role, they are currently only considering local candidates that are currently residing around the Austin area at this time. This is an onsite position in their Austin office.
A Senior Project Manager is needed to implement the strategic roadmap for the clients' Fraud Analytics program. This role involves overseeing the development and execution of data analytics projects and ensuring the successful adoption of Agile methodologies within the team. The Project Manager will work closely with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of fraud detection initiatives, foster collaboration, and drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the implementation of agile processes across cross-functional analytics teams
- Managing the project lifecycle from planning to execution and delivery
- Collaborating with leadership to refine and prioritize the analytics roadmap
- Tracking deliverables and ensuring alignment with strategic fraud prevention goals
- Identifying risks and providing mitigation strategies in a data-driven environment

Required Experience:
- 10 years of experience in project management for data analytics teams, including successful implementation of Agile frameworks
- Preferred Experience: Experience with a Texas or other State agency
- Prior experience working with a Fraud Analytics team
- Experience overseeing moderate to large-scale teams
