Job Title: SQL Server Database AdministratorPosition Overview:
Responsible for all aspects of database administration and data solutions. This role supports Microsoft SQL Server environments from 2012 to 2019 and requires participation in legacy SQL code modernization and new development efforts.
Work Schedule:
- Onsite: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
- Includes 1-hour lunch break
- After-hours availability required for planned activities and on-call support
- Must attend all assigned onsite project meetings
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security
- Perform backup, recovery, and parameter configuration on DBMS
- Design and prototype database structures and data dictionaries
- Optimize database access and allocate/re-allocate resources
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain, rewrite, and enhance legacy SQL code
- Produce documentation and code reviews
