What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Seneca valley dental?
Seneca Valley Dental is a dental office that sees one patient at a time. We provide all parts of general dentistry, from cleaning to root canal therapy to braces. We are currently seeking a part/full-time dental assistant/receptionist to join our team. Workdays on Tues, Wed, Friday, and Saturday are a must. More days will be available accordingly.
We strive to provide the highest quality of patient care and highly cosmetic work. Prior experience as a dental assistant is favorable but we are willing to teach someone with no experience at all in dentistry if the person has the right attitude and willingness to grow with us.

Have experience providing front office support, such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining patient records
Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service
Are committed to adhering to strict confidentiality and ethical standards
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
Are willing to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization
Can readily take instruction from the treating provider, and can adapt to different styles and requirements
Have the ability to work flexible hours if business needs require
Willing to learn new tasks
Your history likely shows:
1-2 years’ experience in a dental practice
Completion of dental assistant school is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it
Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and anticipate the needs of others
Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
