What You Will Do…
- Collaborate with Applicants & Sales – Engage with new applicants and the sales team to collect necessary information, answer inquiries, and ensure a smooth credit application process.
- Validate & Verify Information – Confirm the authenticity, completeness, and accuracy of financial data, ensuring compliance with company credit policies.
- Conduct Credit Analysis – Review credit reports, trade and bank references, financial statements, and other critical data to assess the financial health of new and existing customer accounts.
- Provide Credit Recommendations – Prepare detailed credit reviews that outline a customer’s financial position and propose appropriate terms to the Credit Director.
- Mitigate Risk – Identify potential risks and implement strategies to reduce financial exposure while ensuring continued business growth.
- Foster Effective Communication – Clearly convey credit decisions and risk assessments to the sales team and customers, ensuring transparency and understanding.
- Maintain Accurate Records – Create and update customer records across multiple systems with precision and timeliness.
- Support Daily Credit Operations – Monitor the credit department inbox, addressing new data and change requests from sales, customer service, operations, and customers.
- Must develop good knowledge of NetSuite and BHOS navigation and reporting features

- A strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and credit reports.
- Experience in credit analysis, finance, or risk management is preferred.
- Familiarity with credit policies, financial statements, and trade references.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to interact with sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software, credit assessment tools, and CRM systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration is a plus
- Experience in NetSuite, Oracle, Workflow AR or a related ERP based system.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft products (word, excel, etc).
- Experience in transportation, lubricants, fuel, or a related industry.
