Job Summary
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing outbound sales strategies, optimizing sales processes, and driving business growth. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to managing inside sales representatives, maintaining key customer relationships, and ensuring alignment with corporate sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Business Development
Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategies.
Establish and refine sales processes, structure, and best practices across the marketing area.
Assist in corporate sales planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and key performance metrics.
Sales Team Management & Coaching
Conduct regularly scheduled pipeline meetings with sales representatives.
Provide coaching and support to ensure sales targets are met.
Manage the gap-to-goal for each sales representative and oversee individual performance.
Customer & Supplier Relations
Maintain select strategic customer relationships, including both Senergy and supplier accounts.
Review and approve inside sales price requests while ensuring proper supplier communication and documentation.
Sales Performance Tracking & CRM Utilization
Ensure full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage using the companys CRM system (NetSuite).
Track all CRM activities and manage monthly and quarterly KPIs for each sales representative.
Asset & Equipment Management
Review inside sales requests for equipment, ensuring alignment with company ROI requirements.
Provide quarterly performance updates on assets and make necessary adjustments.
Market Analysis & Competitive Strategy
Develop a working knowledge of Senergys products, services, sales policies, and systems.
Monitor the competitive landscape and make necessary adjustments to the sales program to maintain a competitive edge.
Additional
Represent and promote Senergy in a professional, dignified, and ethical manner.
Supervision of Others
Inside Sales Representatives, Key Account Specialists, Klayvio Specialists
Work Environment
Work is frequently performed in an office setting.
Occasional work in or driving vehicle.
Occasional visits to customer sites of various work environments.
Occasional work around equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
Occasional work in dusty, wet, dirty environments and exposure to fuel and fuel fumes.
Occasional work in hot or cold environments.
Physical Demands
Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Able to move freely around work and customer sites.
Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to walk/climb various terrains.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required
Five or more years experience in inside/outside sales in a business-to-business environment or a related field in an associated industry.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Able to develop and close sales processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office proficient along with being able to learn company-based systems
Must be organized, honest, dependable, collaborative, and posses the ability to multitask.
Adheres to the companys values and ethical expectations.
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred
Bachelors degree in an applicable field.
Sales or operations experience in lubricant and fuel industry.
Experience utilizing NetSuite and MS CRM Solutions.
Experience in Marketing in business to consumer arena.
