About the Position:
We are looking to hire a Client Services Coordinator and/or Paralegal to join our team and help support our existing Virginia client base. The ideal candidate will be proactive and self-motivated, as well as a “team player”, with strong organizational and time-management skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task by successfully shifting focus among competing priorities, in order to ensure all assigned responsibilities and tasks are completed in a timely fashion with minimal supervision and 100% accuracy.
Duties for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents from attorney-provided materials and/or dictation
- Analyze legal situations and develop a plan of action and direction with attorney
- Opening and maintaining files, typing labels, and separating file contents into sub-files
- High-volume printing, copying, scanning, faxing, etc.
- Managing events, deadlines, and reminders via calendaring software applications
- Fielding inbound and outbound mail, e-mail, and telephone communications
- Notarizing documents
- Receiving and responding to client inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner
- Communicating with courts
- Data entry
- Other duties and tasks that may be assigned by the Client Services Manager or supervising attorney
To Be Considered:
You must have the following education and/or experience:
- High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Excel
- Familiarity with and general understanding of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA)
- Familiarity with the Virginia General District Court Online Case Information System
- Property Management Experience is Helpful

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
