Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. This role is essential to ensuring residents receive nutritious, enjoyable dining experiences each day.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Rotating weekends
Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food prep and beverage/snack prep
- Portion and plate meals according to dietary needs
- Deliver meals to residents with care and accuracy
- Clean dishes, trays, kitchen surfaces, and floors
- Take out trash and restock supplies
- Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team and residents
- Report concerns to supervisor and follow dietary instructions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food service experience (especially in healthcare) is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to lift 25 lbs
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Must pass a background check
