Who is P.A.C.E?
The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) offers a variety of services, with many of them provided onsite at a PACE Center.
PACE is an alternative to nursing home care and – through an interdisciplinary care team (IDT) of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, therapists, van drivers, and aides – coordinates and provides preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services, so older individuals can continue living in the community.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Appointment Coordination: Schedule and manage internal and external appointments, ensuring the clinic provider’s day runs smoothly.
- Clinical Support: Assist with data entry, faxing paperwork, scanning documents, taking vital signs, managing immunizations, and obtaining specimens.
- Customer Service: Handle incoming clinical phone calls, assist with participant needs, and ensure a welcoming environment for all clinic visitors.
- Inventory Management: Keep exam rooms stocked and manage clinic supplies efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff and the Clinical Care RN to support all clinic visits and tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Related associate degree preferred. Medical Assistant certification required with at least one year of experience.
- Skills: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication abilities are essential.
- Experience: Minimum one year working with the frail, elderly, or long-term care population is required.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain. Must be fully vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated against communicable diseases: Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, Covid-19 and Hepatitis B.
Work Environment:
- Dynamic Setting: Be prepared for frequent interruptions and a visible presence within the center. Flexibility to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays, is necessary.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle stress, work independently, and manage physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 pounds.
