What You’ll Do
- Analyze and synthesize data related to Service Delivery Appeals and Grievances (SDAG) to identify quality of care concerns.
- Serve as a liaison between participants, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure a fair and effective resolution of grievances and appeals.
- Conduct chart reviews and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance whole-person, patient-centered care.
- Lead internal quality auditing efforts to maintain compliance with CMS, MDHHS, and organizational standards.
- Assist in audit preparation and support continuous process improvements.
- Facilitate policy and procedure review to ensure evidence-based practices align with regulatory requirements.
- Play a key role in educating staff and providers on quality assurance best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred.
- Active and unrestricted Michigan RN license.
- 4 years of clinical nursing experience (6 preferred).
- 4 years of healthcare quality assurance/improvement experience in a PACE, managed care, or health plan setting.
- Strong data analysis, auditing, and process improvement skills.
- Experience working with frail, elderly, or long-term care populations preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR), Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Passion for patient advocacy and collaborating across teams to drive meaningful change.
