We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals. The ideal candidate will have experience in client care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and independence of our clients while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful manner.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress, adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment within the group home setting.
- Must follow the clients Individualized Service Plan
Requirements
- Knowledge of ADLs, patient care techniques, and medication administration protocols is essential.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality is required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are crucial for success in this role.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
