What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA/Caregiver wanting NA I CLASS position at Senior Care Training Center?

Senior Care Training Center is now enrolling our next classes of Nurse Assistant I, Medication Administration, Personal Care Assistants (PCA), CPR. The class will not only prepare you for the CNA I exam but also equip you for a lucrative, successful career in the medical field. This training is either a 5-week, 8-hour days or a 10-12 week 4-hour day or night classes. Training offered weekly on Mondays-Thursdays or Saturdays and Sundays. The NA Trainee will receive intricate training covering the following objectives and skills:
- Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
- Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs
- Helping patients eat and take medications
- Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages
- Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
- Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
- Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
- Exercising patients by helping them walk

The aspirant would have the option to choose between classes offered from 8am-12pm, 5:00pm-9:00pm, or 8:00am - 5:00pm on Mondays-Thursdays or Saturdays/Sundays. All students must provide transcripts of High School diploma or of highest level of education achieved, pass a criminal background check, and pass a drug screen and other requirement prior to the firsr day of class.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
