Part-time Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and possess the necessary skills to support those with various needs, including elderly individuals, those with disabilities, or patients requiring specialized care.

Duties

• Assist clients with meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient health conditions.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist individuals with dementia care and ensure their safety and well-being.
• Monitor patients’ conditions regularly and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Skills in medication administration and patient monitoring are highly valued.
• A background in nursing or related healthcare fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• A caring attitude towards others, along with patience and empathy in all interactions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 18 per week
