Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments
- Supervise and train maintenance staff as needed
- Fabricate or modify parts to ensure proper fit and function
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical repairs
- Welding skills are a plus
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise maintenance staff and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
