Pay: $18.00 - $25.96 per hour, based on experience and with the option of pay in lieu of benefits!
Schedule: Fulltime Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

The Personal Care Assistant/Housekeeper Under the direction and supervision of the Home Care Supervisor, is responsible for providing and assisting participants with basic housekeeping/homemaking needs that are necessary to ensure the physical and health safety of the home environment. Assists in monitoring and reporting the health status and providing a safe environment for the PACE participants of Senior Community Care of Colorado (SCCCO). As assigned, works shifts in the SCCCO Day Center to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in working with the frail or elderly population required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
- Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
- Ability to speak, write, and read in English.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs defined cleaning procedures, using various chemicals and cleaning agents, supplies and equipment, including:
- Dusting/polishing furniture or equipment.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Vacuuming carpets.
- Scouring and sanitizing sinks, toilets, tubs and shower areas.
- Cleaning mirrors, doors, carpets and furniture.
- Washing or spot cleaning walls.
