Confidential Senior Care Organization in Northwest Chicagoland Area Seeks a Full Time ADMISSIONS DIRECTOR. *Must Have either Admissions Liaison or Admissions Director Experience in a Nursing Home, Hospital, or Long Term Care facility*

The Admissions Director is responsible for coordinating all admissions and transfers to the facility, as well as marketing duties.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Admissions Director:
- Responsible for census development through direct sales/marketing to physicians, physician groups, hospital staff, managed care organizations, case managers, social workers and other community healthcare professionals
- Screen prospective residents in both the acute and community setting
- Conduct facility tours, receive and process all incoming inquiries and potential admissions
- Ensure admission readiness of rooms and needed equipment
- Perform on-site clinical and financial assessments to determine appropriateness of admission
- Work with residents, families and professionals to facilitate efficient admission
- Conduct insurance authorizations
To Be Considered for the Role of Admissions Director, You Must Have:
- Previous experience as Admissions Liaison or Admissions Director with a LTC environment required
- Experience with Marketing, preferably in a LTC environment
- Working knowledge of the patient referral process for Long-Term Care
- Knowledge of Illinois Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance preferred
- Previous experience in a Long Term Care environment
- Comfortable conducting tours for families and potential residents
- Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, HFS regulations as it relates to admissions, discharges and resident rights
- Ability to project a warm, friendly and sympathetic demeanor
- Excellent presentation and relationship building skills
