Responsibilities:
As a Personal Care Aide, you will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with mobility and transferring clients as needed
- Offering companionship and socialization to enhance the client’s well-being
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation to ensure a clean, comfortable environment
- Offering medication reminders and supporting medication management (as permitted by state regulations)
- Maintaining communication with clients, families, and the Senior Helpers team to ensure top-notch care
- Documenting client status and services in our electronic system
What You’ll Need:
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds
