Job Summary:
Senior Helpers - Anderson SC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team on a part-time, hourly basis. The Personal Care Aide will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and assistance to our senior clients in the Easley, South Carolina area. Compensation & Benefits:
The Personal Care Aide role at Senior Helpers - Anderson SC offers a competitive hourly wage of $11 to $14 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, this role includes flexible scheduling, ongoing training and professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding, if necessary
- Assisting with medication reminders and accompanying clients to medical appointments
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care team
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients
- Completing required documentation, including daily activity logs and incident reports
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in a healthcare or care giving role preferred
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic towards senior clients
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures
