Duties & Responsibilities
- Personal (ADL) & Companionship (IADL) Care
- Conduct regular orientation sessions for new caregivers to familiarize them with company policies, procedures, and client care expectations.
- Deliver comprehensive skills training programs to enhance caregiver competencies and ensure high-quality care.
- Perform skills assessments to evaluate caregiver proficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing/in-service training to keep caregivers updated on best practices, new techniques, and any changes in regulations or company protocols.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify training needs and deliver tailored training solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, assessments, and caregiver progress.
- Provide support and guidance to caregivers, addressing any concerns or challenges they may encounter.
- The Lead Caregiver will cover shifts for caregivers when needed.
- Perform Training sessions for caregivers will be conducted at the Geneva office, with some sessions taking place in clients' homes
Qualifications
- Has Proven work experience as a caregiver: minimum 1 year (Required)
- Has High Flexibility & Availability (Required)
- Has Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent certification. (Required)
- Has Current Driver's License: (Required)
- Has Reliable transportation to visit client homes for on-site training and skills assessments
- Has Expertise and passion for providing personal and companion care to seniors
- Has Demonstrated experience in training and skills assessment.
- Has Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging training materials.
- Has Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Compassionate, patient, and supportive demeanor.
- Proof of Eligibility to Work in the USA: (Required)
- Has a genuine desire to help others, Positive Attitude & willing to Learn
- Willing to assist client in any of these areas: Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora, Aurora, Sugar Grove, Montgomery, Oswego, Plainfield, Yorkville, Plano, and Sandwich. (Required)
