Senior Helpers - Boston North is seeking a Recruiter / Human Resources Assistant to join our team in our Raynham office. Our ideal candidate has a great attitude, a passion for working with people, is organized and self-motivated.
Recruiter / Human Resources Assistant
- RECRUITING by phone, email, text and online
- Screening resumes, conducting interviews by phone and in-person.
- Conducting reference checks
- On-board and orient new employees
- Implement company culture, values and policies
- Participate/lead recruitment efforts such as job fairs, open houses, refer a friend program, etc.
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Maintain data using Excel schedules and Word document files
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
- Accurately maintain employee files
- Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable speaking on the phone and communication via text & email.
- Possess good communication skills along with patience when talking to new people.
- Computer use experience required, Experience using MS Excel & MS Word, MS Outlook, etc.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently in an office setting as well as work within a team setting while building rapport with other coworkers while staying professional.
- Strong organizational skills will be necessary.
- Previous recruiting and/or human resources department experience is preferred
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
- HIPAA compliance experience preferred, not required.
- English must be primarily language (verbal & written)
- Bilingual is Portuguese, Spanish or Haitian is a plus. NOT REQURIED.
- 1-3 years’ office experience preferred as a minimum.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
